city scapes ~
Scotia's port capital city of Halifax is well known for its fabulous seafood
restaurants, night clubs, and down-east friendly people. Halifax is an
eclectic mix of old and new architecture and home to Canada's oldest church
(St. Paul's), a fantastic waterfront development, and our famous Bluenose II
sailing schooner (depicted on the back of Canada's 10-cent piece). The
historic Citadel Hill fortress, with its well-renowned clock tower, overlooks
downtown and scenic Halifax Harbour. Halifax is home to the Maritime Museum of
the Atlantic, where many artifacts from the sunken Titanic now reside,
including a recovered Titanic deck chair
(depicted below). Laurie
has captured memorable scenes of Halifax in stunning watercolour images, some
of which are available as Limited Edition prints, perma-plaques, and note cards.
for the unframed unmatted original painting. As mat and frame pricing varies,
according to which mat and frame options you choose, please contact Laurie for
complete pricing. Pricing
